I am a theatre maker, recently returned to Leeds in Yorkshire - the place of my birth - after nearly 20 years of living and working in Ireland where I have been lecturing at Trinity College Dublin and doing projects in Ireland and other european countries. I specialise in using theatre as a way for people to engage with each other - sometimes as theatre artist with theatre audience .. but often as participants in non-theatre settings - from international collaborative performances in an old mill in Thessaloniki to "conflict-resolution" film-making with school pupils from both sides of the border on the island of Ireland. I am now Head of Media Film and Culture at Leeds Trinity University College and looking forward to learning how to edit the hundreds of hours of films I've made of the work over the years! There's a project in there somewhere!!!
