Joxelu had sent one with sand from a beach near his home in Bera de Bidasoa ... now he gets to open it and swap the sand from home with some from north of the Arctic Circle ...

this is where we were staying - for the Stamsund Internatioal Theatre Festival ... all the artists stay in the red and green wooden houses by the water ... and our meals are in the white building there - the Skybrugga Hotel... all sorts of buildings are converted into theatres for the week ... as well as the two permanent theatres in the tiny village.
